The style that always seems to come back is the distressed jean look, and boy am I glad that it does. Nothing says Laura like a pair of distressed jeans and a tshirt. Comfy and casual is my absolute favorite look. I just purchased these Hudson krista jeans this week, and am in love with the fit and feel of them. They are a low rise, distressed ankle skinny. Lighter, distressed jeans are coming back this spring/summer who's joining me in wearing them?!
Also pictured with my dumela bracelet and Lenny and Eva bracelet, sanctuary sweater, niki biki cami and CAT boots.
Happy Tuesday!

New hair do with a headband.
So I did steal this hair idea from my stylish boss Jamie, so I can't take the credit for this one:). This is such a fun and easy way to pull up your hair and it looks like hard work but the secret is its not...especially if I can do it because typically my options are straightened, ponytail, braid or bun.
So here are the steps.
Put a headband on top of your hair.
Take your hair and simply pull it up and tuck it into the headband to hold it tight. Adjust it a little and whaaala you have a new do!

Rainy day blues.
This weather in Michigan has been something else! We are having a snow storm one week, now heavy rain storms! I'm still voting the the snow comes back for a visit, which I hear it will soon. The rain does nothing for my bangs as you can see in the picture:)).
Today I wore my black leather Zara pants with a top from three dots. I accessorized with a vintage gold necklace and a Kendra Scott coral ring. Hope you all had a great day:)

2 Awesome Jewelry Lines.
So if you had a chance to read my post from yesterday you know I am now obsessed with Kendra Scott jewelry. It's that time of year that we all want to brighten up our wardrobe or at least accessorize with some new jewelry to spice up some of the sweaters and winter looks we have been wearing for a few months now.
These are the two jewelry lines that I'm just LOVING right now, Lenny and Eva can be found at jb and me right now and Kendra Scott isn't carried anywhere local that I know of at the moment so can be ordered at www.kendrascott.com and if you sign up for their e-mail list you get a one time discount!
Lenny and Eva has that cool bohemian look that the more you layer it the cooler it looks. The line has everything from leather bands to small wrap arround leather bracelets. Here are a few options that we have in the store at the moment. I love the little charms and fringe you can add to give them an even more personal touch. Super cute.
Kendra Scott's line is full of so many different colors. I love big earrings and you can find plenty on her website...I even think I found the pair of earrings I will wear on my wedding day:) She also has a stone that is a true mint green, and since I'm obsessed with that color right now, and it will be included in my wedding colors I was so happy to see it in her collection. Prices range but majority start at $50, but it is high quality so well worth the price.
Some of my faves from Kendra Scott...Can you tell green is my favorite color?

A little yellow to brighten the day.
AG makes the most wonderfully, comfortable t-shirts, the yellow one i'm wearing in the picture is exactly that. I needed to wear something a little brighter since we've seen little sunshine with all the snow we've been getting. I'm also wearing a pair of earrings from the jewelry designer Kendra Scott. I was recently introduced to this jewelry line by my soon to be sister in law Amadee. I blame her for the obsession I have with this brand now:))). It's a good thing though. Check out her website if you want a fun colorful earring. She has every color under the sun!
I'm wearing my favorite CAT canvas and leather boots, along with a necklace I received from a good friend for Christmas:)

A Day of Travel.
I always have such a hard time trying to pick out what to wear when I'm traveling. You want to be comfortable yet cute. So in my mind this morning comfy and cute was the following...
For bottoms I'm wearing a new pair of James twiggy denim leggings. These skinny jeans have a ton of stretch and actually feel for like a true legging when wearing them. For a top I pulled out an oldie but goodie- a long sleeve three dot tee. The material on these shirts are always amazing, and since I've had it a while it has gotten even better with age. I wore my tall grey CAT boots mainly because I didn't want to pack them and have them take up a lot of room. Plus the short heel makes them easy to walk in. I added a scarf not only for looks but to keep everyones germs off me while flying:). Im leaving on a jet plane and only have one more flight to go:)
P.S. sorry for the ugly scenery in the bathroom photos:)
