Thursdays look.

The weather is changing in good old Michigan. Old man winter is showing his face:) If you'd drive by my house you would know I'm excited by all my Christmas lights!
I had to layer up a little today for the weather so I picked my blue wilt sweatshirt, my fidelity skinny jeans, my favorite CAT boots and a Aztec printed scarf. I've also been into braiding my hair lately. Particularly braiding it with the fishtail braid as shown. It's kind of messy and boho looking...aka if it looks a little messy your good to go. I typically wear jewelry more than scarves but have picked up a few really great prints so I've been trying to wear them a little more:)

Lovely leggings

I haven't always been a legging girl, but I've decided I am now. I recently got a pair from my good friend Abby that has a wider waistband and consists of a thicker pant like material and I'm loving them!
I paired them with a tunic top by velvet, and a fun printed Aztec scarf....simple and comfy.

Grease lightning pants.

I'm sorry, I haven't been a good blogger...I started out with a bang and life caught up with me. Starting today I promise to be consistent:)

I call these my grease lightning pants, because they remind me of the pants that Sandy wore in Grease at the end of the movie. Now I'm not saying I look like her in these pants because she was but a 99 pound woman in those tiny things! The pants I have on are from velvet heart and they are actually at Jb and me right now. I featured them in my style event last Thursday and decided I needed a pair myself:). I'm wearing a cardigan from urban outfitters and layered underneath is one of my favorite nikibiki tanks.

A little antiquing with Abby.

    Today was the last day of fun shopping for us in Allegan at the Allegan Antique Market, since it was the last Sunday it will be held for the year:(. It was the perfect Fall day, which made it all the more enjoyable. Abby makes a pretty good shopping partner since we could both shop for hours and never get tired of it, and we both like to hunt for small treasures at a bargain price.
     Since it was a little breezy and cool I wore my AG skinny jeans with a striped Michael Stars tee, and layered it with a faux leather jacket. Perfect casual outfit for a little shopping escapade.
    I saw a ton of wonderful things, but the only thing I purchased was an adorable vintage nativity set for Christmas.

How this happened I don't know.  Yes I wore two different earrings almost half a day
without me or Abby noticing.  I've had a rough week, at least it gave us a good laugh.

It was time to switch it up... I did the blonde ombré the summer, but deep down I love having my hair dark. I found this picture on pinterest...

A touch of Fall.

I am totally loving the weather today. The air is crisp and cool giving us the feeling that Fall indeed is on its way. I just love everything about Fall... Getting to wear cozy sweaters and sweatshirts, a farmers market full of mums, apples and cider along with
the gorgeous leaves changing on the trees. What's not to love about all those thing?!?

I knew it was going to be a bit chilly with the breeze today so I threw on my Wilt sweatshirt, a pair of lucky shorts and covered my messy morning hair do with a fun Aztec headband. A perfect comfy look for a relaxing Saturday afternoon.

My labor day outfit.

I had to work for a little while today. The store is open limited hours on labor day (11-5). I knew getting ready this morning that I wanted to wear something casual, because for dinner I'm heading over to my neighbors house for a BBQ. I paired my AG boyfriend shorts with a floral blouse and my studded Jeffrey Campbell flats. I tied the gold metal theme in my shoes to my new fun spike earrings. I decided to add a bold red lip and keep the rest of my makeup simple and clean. Fun summery outfit for a hot and humid Labor Day!
