I wore my favorite new splendid top, but this time decided to wear it with jeans instead of my leather pants. It give the top a whole new look, much more casual. This is a great example of how to change the look of one top.
Im wearing my new pair of Hudson collins jeans, along with my comfy 67 loafer shoes. I also did my hair a little different today. I added a few curls with a curing iron:). Hope you all had a great day!

My Kentucky bluegrass top.
I fell in love with this top the day I saw it at the store. Not only do I love horses (and all other living creatures), but it is by Free people one of my all time favorite brands that we carry at the store.
It's made of a super comfy slub sweatshirt material, making me love it all the more.
I've paired it with my leather leggings, my FP denim top and my sparkle shoes from FOUND. The bracelet pictured at the bottom is a new purchase today from the line Lenny and Eva. This jewelry line is so cool because you can collect charms and add them to your bracelets or switch to new metal plates-the options are endless. Love the look they have! My last picture is not necessary "clothing fashion", but "home fashion" Pictured is my new lamp I received from my dad for a Christmas gift, along with a personalized burlap pillow from my bestie Katie. Love my new home decorations! Hope you are all having an amazing day!

Button down and leather pants.
So I've been lusting over this splendid button down top since I
picked it out at market. The color is such a vibrant blue that
shouts springs is around the corner...well that might not exactly be the case but a girl can dream.
I paired it with my leather pants from Zara (but a very similar pair can be found at Jb and me as we speak), a vintage gold necklace, my well known flats I love, and even a matching blue hair tie;). The top is actually at Jb and me right now brand new for early spring arrivals. I wore my hair in a somewhat side pony, something simple.

New years eve look.
I know, it's not what you'd expect a fashion lover to be wearing on new years eve, but for the past two years I have stayed home on nye and relaxed and tonight is going to be the same:) After a busy and might I add exciting holiday I'm more than satisfied to sit at home with the pups.
I'm wearing a pair of black leggings, and extra long tank from angelrox, my new cat boots, and my denim top from Free people. I haven't switched over to a winter coat so for now I'm still rockin' my favorite faux leather jacket by blue pepper.
Hope you all have a wonderful new years!

A night in the windy city.
These pictures are from my girls trip in the beginning of December. We went for a short weekend and had a great time shopping, dining and going to a show. I wore some of my favorite new faux leather pants and my RD blazer. I love the look and feel of these pants. They have the look of leggings but a little dressier and more substantial. I added my signature gold jewelry and some nude flats with studded detail. Perfect semi dressy outfit for a night out in the windy city!

Cookie exchange attire
This holiday season I hosted my first cookie exchange at my new house. I wanted to dress up a little and wear something festive so I chose my bb Dakota sequin jacket in black. I kept it somewhat casual by wearing jeans and some ballet flats as well. What did you all wear to your holiday parties?
